So, what does this mean for multifamily communities? It means that your residents can make or brake a potential tenant’s outlook on your community. You can increase your review site scores, and therefore increase your digital curb appeal for prospective tenants, by applying a few simple strategies:
Make Every Interaction Count
This may seem like a no-brainer, but the interactions your staff has with tenants on a daily basis have a huge impact on the likelihood of them leaving a positive review. Remind your staff, whether they’re fixing something around an apartment, or just answering questions from prospective renters, every interaction matters.
Just Ask For a Review
In the same BrightLocal study, 7 out of 10 people said they would leave a review if they were asked. So, just ask! Mention leaving a review in person after any positive interaction with a tenant. Ask over email after a pleasant phone conversation or email correspondence. Your ratings will thank you.
